We showed up to teach store teams how to prevent it.
From 2008-2020, ARS ran Lunch & Learn sessions 1-2 times monthly from our New Jersey warehouse. Two back-to-back sessions, 20 participants each; SMs, DMs, FSMs all up-leveled together.
The Setup: Makeshift counter with live beverage, grind, and water equipment. Hands-on preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. Basic plumbing and electrical. Interactive, classroom-style.

Retail visionary Howard Schultz couldn’t tolerate the sight of melted and burnt brewer faceplates in his stores - a glaring blemish that cost a fortune to fix year after year.
This $245 repair, needed approximately every two years for all 10,000 units in the field, racked up an unnecessary $1.2 million in expenses each year, not to mention the massive mechanical waste it generated.

With decades of expertise, ARS founder Frank Nedza quickly envisioned and manufactured a simple accessory to solve the issue once and for all.
Quietly, the Bunn Brewer Guard spread across the nation, saving every Bunn brewer in in Howard's North American stores.
By reducing costs, minimizing waste, and enhancing customer perception, this innovation proved that even the smallest solutions can deliver massive results!
